Cantilever Cylinders

Cantilever rolls are used in long product rolling mills. Cylinders are manufactured by two different processes: Monometallic or Bimetallic. In the Bimetallic process, they are cast in centrifugal machines with different materials. The outer part is a bonded material that features high hardness and wear resistant. Inside, a low-alloy material with toughness. The materials in the work area are typically pearlitic nodular or acicular pearlitic cast irons.

Hardness: 50 to 65 Sh C.
